To create good photography, especially a professional headshot, technical skills alone will not suffice. The photographer needs to have a keen sense of style, a joyful approach to the work at hand, and a little bit of pizzazz. And who does this better than an Italian? All kidding aside, I was born and raised in Sicily. (Yes, I still have an accent. But most people think it’s cute!) I did modeling there and in Italy, but eventually found that it was so much more fulfilling to be behind the camera, rather than in front of it. At about that time, I moved to Los Angeles and my career as a professional photographer took off.
